Justice Pramath Patnaik sworn in as Orissa HC Judge
Cuttack: Justice Pramath Patnaik has been sworn in as the Judge of the Orissa High Court in Cuttack on Friday. The oath has been administered by High Court Chief Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri.
Prior to this new post, Justice Patnaik was appointed as an Additional Judge in the High Court of Chhattisgarh on December 22, 2014.
Justice Pramath Patnaik was sworn in as an Additional Judge of the Orissa High Court on September 24, 2014.
Born in 1959, Patnaik completed his Master’s Degree from Delhi University and later obtained a Degree from University Law College of Utkal University.
Patnaik was the Government Advocate at the Principal Bench of the Odisha Administrative Tribunal (OAT), Bhubaneswar.
He was the Standing Counsel of the OAT during 1994-95 and also served as an Additional Standing Counsel of the High Court between 2000 and 2006. He also served as an Additional Government Advocate in the High Court between 2006 and 2009.
