Infiltration bid foiled, two armed intruders killed in Uri encounter


Srinagar: Two armed intruders were killed after the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector today.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army busted a terrorist hideout in Jammu and Kashmir’s Handwara District and seized a large cache of explosive material and ammunition, including an anti-aircraft gun.

Earlier in the day, two jawans were injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Bhimber Gali (BG) sector of Jammu and Kashmir’ Rajouri district and one terrorist was gunned down by the security forces in Kashmir’s Uri area in Baramulla sector.
