India-UK Tech Summit: UK traveling gets easier

New Delhi: Now for Indians travelling to UK would be made easier, British Prime Minister Theresa May said at a Tech Summit here on Monday.
This is her maiden bi-lateral visit to India after she took charge earlier last July. The British PM’s three-day visit is based on business relations between the two countries in post-Brexit Britain.
May announced a scheme which makes it quicker and easier for Indian business travelers to get clearance from passport control authorities.
While inaugurating the tech-summit Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed his British counterpart Theresa May, said UK is a great friend of India and Make in India would be a key aspect in the cooperation between both countries.
Notably, before attending the summit in Delhi Theresa has already talked with Modi about expediting clearance to UK under a registered traveler’s scheme for businessmen of India.
