Beijing: China has urged India and Pakistan to ‘exercise restraint’ after air strikes by 12 Mirage 2000 jets on JeM terror camps by Indian Air Force across LoC.
China on Tuesday asked New Delhi to carry out its fight against terrorism through international cooperation.
The Chinese response has come hours after Indian fighter jets pounded Jaish-e-Mohammed’s biggest camp in Pakistan in a pre-dawn attack.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang told the media here that they have taken note of relevant reports and added that India and Pakistan are both important countries in South Asia.
The spokesperson said a sound relationship and cooperation between the two serve the interests of both the countries. It also brings peace and stability in South Asia, he added.
He hoped that both India and Pakistan can exercise restraint and take more steps to improve their mutual relations.
