India lands Globemaster aircraft to rally standoff against China in Ladakh


New Delhi: In a bid to rally show of strength and dissent Chinese incursion across international Mc Mohan line in Leh, India landed a massive Boeing C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft to attune response capabilities as compared to China.

Earlier on Thursday, a globemaster was landed at the Mechuka Advanced Landing Ground (ALG). This would enhance the quick delivery of troops in far cut off areas close to border with China and also assist in quick supply of rations to security personnel.

Notably, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have been in standoff since Wednesday with the Chinese forces not returning from the disputed border area. Sources said, they have been objecting to a civilian work going on in the Demchok area and are continuously up in the eye to eye ball situation against the ITBP.

This incursion followed PM Modi’s diwali celebrations with ITBP jawans in Mana in Uttarakhand the last village in the border line towards China.
