Ind vs Eng: India with 3-1 loss in 4th test
Southampton: England cricket team won the fourth Test match against India by 60 runs in their second innings on the fourth day of test match at the Rose Bowl Cricket Stadium. England team is in lead of 3-1 in the ongoing five-match series.
On the day 4 of the fourth Test match, India bowled out England for a score of 271 and had set a target of 245 to win the match.
The Indian team who came to crease for batting suffered an early blow when KL Rahul was clean bowled by Stuart Broad. James Anderson then removed Cheteshwar Pujara and Shikhar Dhawan to reduce India to 22/3 in 8.3 overs.
The English duo- Stuart Broad and James Anderson denied India the perfect start by sharing three wickets in just 9 overs.
Later, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane stabilised the innings and managed to put up a 101-run stand for the fourth wicket.
However, Kohli and Rahane were made out from the crease by the English all-rounder Moeen Ali.
And after Rahane’s wicket, the batting order collapsed and India had to suffer another loss at the end of the innings.
