Bengaluru: The Income Tax (I-T) sleuths have conducted raids at the residence of former Karnataka Deputy CM G Parameshwara in Bengaluru.
Reports said nearly 30 premises were covered under the raid.
The reports said that raids were conducted after the Income-tax Department found irregularities in medical college run by a trust related to him.
The searches began at 6.30 am today and the I-T department further said that search and seizure operations were also carried out at a medical college in Nelamangala run by a trust belonging to Parameshwara.
The department has claimed that Parameshwara had used his position for his ‘personal gains’.
