Mumbai: Television actress Mouni Roy, who was recently seen opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Gold’ has reportedly bagged two big projects in the Bollywood.
The 32-year-old actor, a popular face in the television industry, has been roped in for Karan Johar’s Brahmasutra and John Abraham starrer RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter.
Speaking about the projects, Mouni said, “I will be giving my best. I have started working on the two films Brahmasutra and Romeo Akbar Walter.”
Though the actor is excited as good roles are coming on her way, she did not disclose much about characters she would be playing in her upcoming movies.
In Brahmasutra, she joins the star-studded cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan.
Calling herself a proud television actor, Mouni says she loves acting and that she was very happy working on the small screen and that films are just an extension of what she loves. Mouni has over nine years of experience in acting on small screens but still, she said she feels like a beginner on the silver screen.
The Naagin actor is proud that her debut film ‘Gold’ was appreciated by the audience and feels it is the unity in diversity theme that has worked in favour of the film.
“It is not just about winning gold medal but about the relationship that the characters share with each other in the film and how the story is interwoven and how team broke apart during partition and it also highlights the importance of team spirit,” she added.
