High alert in Tamil Nadu after 6 LeT terrorists enter through Sri Lanka

New Delhi: The authorities have sounded terror alert in Tamil Nadu after 6 LeT terrorists enter South India through Sri Lanka, reports said.

Intelligence inputs said a group of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists  have entered South India via Sri Lanka. The reports said most of the terrorists are Pakistanis but some are Sri Lankan also.

The report further said that the group has about 6 to 8 people and their objective is to hit targets in Tamil Nadu and other areas.

Coimbatore has been put on high alert and Coimbatore and Chennai Commissioner have confirmed that they are on alert after receiving inputs about movement of few people.
