New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Biarritz, France on Monday.
Sources said Kashmir, trade and bilateral ties are on the agenda.
The meeting comes at a time when Pakistan is trying to internationalize the Kashmir issue. The American President has twice offered to mediate between the two countries over Kashmir issue.
Last week, PM Modi had a telephonic conversation with Trump in which he conveyed that extreme rhetoric and incitement to anti-India violence by certain leaders in the region was not conducive to peace in the region.
Trump has also been constantly in touch with Pakistan PM Imran Khan on the issue.
Reports said PM Modi is expected to speak during sessions on the environment, climate, oceans, and digital transformation, besides holding bilateral meetings with leaders of other countries participating in the two-day summit being held here.
