Forest Officials Seize Timber Worth Lakhs In Kalahandi

Kalahandi: Odisha forest officials busted an illegal timber racket with the seizure of Sal wood worth lakhs under Narla forest range in Marampur and Kanapur village today.

Acting on a tip-off a team of forest officials raided in the villages and recovered the Sal woods illegally stored inside the houses of locals.

As per police sources, the seized woods amounts to nearly 5 lakhs.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused behind illegal wood trade.
