First All India Radio Odia Director Madhusudan Panigrahi passes away


Berhampur: The All India Radio’s (AIR) first Odia Director Madhusudan Panigrahi passed away on Thursday of prolonged illness. He was 95.

Panigrahi breathed his last at his residence in Ashok Nagar-8 here. He is survived by his wife and a son.

Panigrahi through the programme “Kuanra Punei Janha Lo” had been guiding youths how to move forward in life.

As the new of his demise spread, many eminent persons of the locality visited his residence and paid their last respects to him and offered condolences to his bereaved family.
