Bhubaneswar: It is well known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is strictly vegetarian and loves eating simple cuisines prepared with fresh veggies. Exquisite Odia cuisines have been added to the menu to be served during the two-day National Executive meet on April 15 and 16.
According to reliable sources, the menu of mouth-watering dishes includes panasa katha tarkari, chakuli pitha, santula, badi choora, saga muga, poda peetha, arisa peetha Rasabali and chhena jhili. Apart from this, the guests will be served with Luke warm water and honey before food and refreshing coconut water after having breakfast.
The typical Odia cuisines in the menu will be prepared by Mayfair Hotel for about 500 guests in a kitchen set up at the south end of the meeting venue.
Besides, elaborate security arrangements are in place at Janata Maidan under surveillance of 70 CCTV cameras. The meeting venue is guarded by Special Protection Group (SPG), National Security Guadrs (NSG), Indo-tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Odisha Police. A 30-feet long and 14-feet wide LCD has been installed so that the guests could see the PM clearly.
On the other hand, 26 diesel generators have been brought in for getting backup during power failure.
However, as many as 330 VVIPs and VIPs across the country are attending the National Executive meet of BJP.
