Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The election scenario is hotting up the state as senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh dared Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for a debate.
Singh said he wanted a debate over the work done in his and latter’s dispensation.
Singh, the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister said, the people has a right to know about the developmental activities during their tenure.
He said he was the Chief Minister for 10 years and added that there were no allegations against him. When Uma Bharti charged him corruption, she was brought to court, Singh said.
It may be recalled on November 10, Chouhan in a rally had alleged about the poor condition of roads and erratic electricity and water supplies in the state. The state will go to polls on November 28 to elect 230 members of the legislative assembly. The results will be out on December 11.
