Depression weakens into well marked low; moderate rain in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: After weakening considerably over the course of Saturday, the depression has weakened in to a well marked low pressure (WMLP) area over Gangetic West Bengal today, a bulletin of India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional center here said.
The WMLP area over Gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood could trigger light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm at a few place over Odisha during the next 24 hours.
“Depression over north Odisha moved northeastwards and weakened into a well marked low pressure area over Gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood at 5.30am today,” the IMD bulletin read.
