Dengue outbreak: Three dead, 1,186 tested positive
Bhubaneswar: As many as 1, 186 persons have been tested dengue positive while three have died in the disease so far in the state, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Pratap Jena here on Monday.
In a statement to the media, Jena said: “Five medical camps have been set up in the affected villages of Kalahandi district, which is reportedly reeling under dengue outbreak.”
“The district headquarters hospitals in 30 districts in the state have been asked to remain alert. Besides efforts are on to sensitise people about the cause of the mosquito-borne disease in Kalahandi district,” Jena added.
