Manchester: Ranveer Singh, who is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie ’83, was present at the World Cup 2019 match between India and Pakistan in Manchester and marked his commentary debut.
The Bollywood actor took everyone by storm yesterday with his amazing commentary in India vs Pakistan match and also was seen hugging Virat Kohli after the match concluded.

Actor Ranveer Singh and former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar were spotted dancing to a popular Hindi song in the Star Sports commentary box.
The duo was spotted singing ‘Badan pe sitare lapete hue‘ from the 1969 film Prince, starring Shammi Kapoor and Vyjayanthimala.
Videos of the actor cheering for the team, bonding with the team members and more took no time to go viral. Soon after, Indian Cricket Captain Virat Kohli took to Instagram and shared a few photos from the match, congratulating his team and thanking fans.
The Padmaavat actor is currently in England shooting for his upcoming film ‘83. The movie is directed by Kabir Singh and is based on the 1983 World Cup. It is scheduled to release in summer 2020.
Meanwhile, many Indian celebrities reached Manchester to have a first-hand experience of the game which is called ‘the mother of all battles’. Saif Ali Khan, Mumbai Indians’ owner Neeta Ambani along with her son Akash Ambani, Leander Paes, Rakul Preet Singh and popular Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa were among the few who were at the stadium.
