CM in Bhadrak: Strong steps will be taken to counter divisive politics


Bhadrak: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Bhadrak to take stock of the situation of the violence. The CM got down from his vehicle, walked down the streets and met local people to express the state government’s concern and support to the victims of the violence.

“We will provide new vending zones for rehabilitation of street vendors who were affected in the violence. The culprits will be punished as per law,” said Naveen. he also added that the ‘state government will take strong steps to counter divisive politics’ in the name of religion.

The CM met officials of district administration, police and  civil society members of the area after reaching the town at 10:30 am. He reviewed the situation at the Collectorate with senior officials.
