New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the 2019 results of Class 12 examination. The results are available on the official website – www.cbse.nic.in, and Class 12 students of Arts, Science and Commerce stream under CBSE can check their results on the site.
How to check CBSE Class 10, Class 12 results 2019:
- Go to www.cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on the relevant result link of your stream
- Enter the required details, such as roll number, and hit ‘Submit’
- Your results will be displayed on your screen
- Download your results and take a printout for future reference
This year, Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora topped the CBSE Class 12 exams, scoring 499 marks out of 500 each.
While the overall pass percentage for the CBSE Class 12 exams stands at 83.4 per cent, Trivandrum has emerged as the top performing region with a pass percentage of 98.2 per cent. In the Chennai region, the pass percentage is 92.93 per cent and in the Delhi region, the pass percentage is 91.87 per cent.
The CBSE conducted the examination for Class 12 students till April 4 this year. Over 31 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 12 exams this year. Of the lot, 18.1 were boys and 12.9 lakh were girls.
The CBSE had conducted the annual examination for Class 10 and Class 12 in the February-March 2019. A total of 31,14,821 students had registered for both Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE Board exams this year which includes 28 transgender candidates.
The annual Board exams were held in 4,974 centres across India and 78 centres abroad.
