CBI sleuths at Vidhan Sabha again, verifies vehicle passes of Ministers and MLAs

Bhubaneswar: It is for the second time that the CBI has again started probing the multi-crore chit fund scam by conducted a search in the Odisha Assembly security office regarding the issue of vehicle entry passes to Ministers and MLAs between years 2010 and 2013. All the vehicle passes of ministers and MLAs were verified by the CBI sleuths here on Tuesday.

As per sources, the CBI interrogated the Security Officer and other staffs of the state secretariat  regarding issuance of the passes.

It may be noted here that the Central investigating agency had earlier sought information regarding issuance of vehicle passes from the Assembly Secretariat following the Artha Tatwa ponzi firm chief Pradeep Sethi’s revelation that he had given costly vehicles to some Ministers, including Sanjay Kumar Dasburma. The agency had also examined documents of vehicles used by Dasburma earlier.
