Mumbai: This Friday releases including The Zoya Factor, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and Prassthanam that marked the Bollywood debut of Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol showed little chance of survival at the box office.
The film seems to have been affected by Dream Girl and Chhichhore which continue to run successfully in theatres in their second and third week, respectively.
It was a clash of three films last Friday. The Zoya Factor, Prassthanam and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas– this three film-all from different genres-have locked horns at the box office.
Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer The Zoya Factor collected only Rs 75 lakh nett on its Day 1, reported BoxOffice India.
Meanwhile, Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and Sanjay Dutt’s Prassthanam showed better opening than The Zoya Factor. While Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas earned around Rs 1.1-1.2 crore, Prassthanam collected somewhere around Rs 75 lakh nett.
Meanwhile, Dream Girl has collected Rs 77.50 crore in two weeks and Chhichhore has crossed Rs 110 crore at the domestic box office.
