UP Board Exams: As cheating continues unabated, Yogi Government takes swift action


Lucknow: After hearing several complaints about cheating at examination halls across the state, Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath has taken several tough stands to put the cheating at halt.

Acting strictly against the concerned authorities and examination centres, Yogi today passed  the some stringent orders including debarment of 55 examination centres for conducting examination while he ordered 57 centres for not holding exams in the future for allegedly encouraged students to cheat.

He has issued notices to Education officers of seven districts over excessive cheating in areas falling under domain assigned to them. The invigilation process has been fastened and so far 1419 students have been caught cheating and have been barred from appearing the exam.

Similarly, case has been registered against 359 teachers and invigilators.

Recent orders by CM have sent across strong message to everyone who resorted to cheating in order to clear exams. CM Yogi had promised action against guardians, teachers, students, invigilators and senior education officers; who have been encouraging cheating.
