BJP to launch week-long protest against corruption in Odisha from Oct 12
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of BJP announced to hold a state-wide week-long demonstration against the alleged corruption and percentage commission (PC) culture of the state government.
The saffron party took the decision during the state executive meet at the party headquarters office today.
BJP will protest from October 12 to 18 across 1001 mandals in the state against alleged corruption by the state government, said State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan during the meeting.
“We are going to launch a protest against corruption and PC culture in the state from October 12 across the state,” said Harichandan.
BJP’s demonstration is considered to be a counter-attack on ruling BJD’s Jan Sampark Padayatra. The protest will begin a day after completion of BJD’s Padayatra on October 11.
