New Delhi: BJP chief in Uttar Pradesh and a chief ministerial candidate Keshav Prasad Maurya has been admitted to the ICU of RML Hospital in New Delhi. As per sources, the leader has abnormal blood pressure and may be discharged on Friday after being kept under observation today.
After BJP and its allies claimed 325 out of 403 UP constituencies, Maurya has been one of the names fielded for the Chief Minister post alongwith Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Kalraj Mishra and Yogi Adityanath.
Maurya had recently met the prime minister and had said the decision will be taken by the parliamentary board. However, today Amit Shah had said that Maurya has been given the duty of choosing the CM and the Phoolpur MP had himself admitted that when he has been given this duty how could he suggest his own name.
