Bhubaneswar: The ruling BJD of the state decided to raise Mahanadi tribunal, Polavaram, paddy MSP hike and other key issues in the upcoming second phase budget session in Parliament starting from March 5.
It was decided at the parliamentary party meeting chaired by BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Nivas here today.
“We will raise the key issues including Mahanadi tribunal, Polavaram, railway negligence and Minimum Support Price (MSP) of paddy in the parliament. Besides, we will raise the demand for special category status for Odisha, special assistance for KBK region and other prominent issues in the interest of the State, said parliamentary party spokesman Kalikesh Singhdeo.
We will also discuss three new railway headquarters proposed to the Centre for Odisha, added the BJD MP.
