Bihar roadrage: Rocky Yadav surrenders before court


Patna: A day after the Supreme Court had stayed the bail granted by Patna High Court of Rocky Yadav, the main accused in the death of Aditya Sachdeva, in a road rage incident, Yadav surrendered before Gaya district Court on Saturday. He has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.

On Oct 19 Patna High Court had granted bail to Rocky and he was free from jail on Oct 21. Seeking cancellation of Rocky’s bail Bihar government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court. Rocky’s mother Manorama Devi was suspended from Janata Dal-United MLC owing to this case.

Notably, the incident happened on May 7 this year. After a birthday party celebration when Aditya was returning with his friends, he overtook Rocky’s car. Rocky then fatally shot Aditya.
