Bhubaneswar, Malkangiri hottest for second day at 39.2 degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar: The capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar and Malkangiri recorded the highest temperature in the state for the second day on Saturday.

According to the latest observation, the mercury soared above 35 degree Celsius in 14 cities across the state today. Bhubaneswar and Malkangiri remained at 39.2 degree Celsius followed by Cuttack (37.2), Bhawanipatna (37), Titlagarh (37), Bolangir (36.5) and Talcher (36.5).

The other places which recorded temperature above 35 degrees Celsius are- Sonepur (36.4), Baripada (36.2), Angul (36.1), Chandbali (35.7), Jharsuguda (35.7), Sambalpur (35.5) and Hirakud (35.1).

The weatherman predicted no large change in both minimum and maximum temperature during the next two days over the districts of Odisha.
