Bharat Bhusan Rath awarded with Kendriya Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar


Bhubaneswar: Odia writer Bharat Bhusan Rath was awarded with the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar 2016 for the book “Bana Vaibhavam” from Prof. Viswanath Prasad Tiwari, the president Sahitya Akademi and Dhrubajyoti Bora, eminent Assamese writer at Rabindra Mandap in Agartala, on Friday.

This is the fifth published book by Rath and describes the beauty of the forest and the attempts to be made for the conservation of the same.The book has received much appreciation from the literary sphere of the country for it’s vivid description about the usefulness of a plant for having a healthier life. Earlier also he has been bestowed with many awards by Bharatiya Sanskruti Parishad.

Currently serving as literature professor at Tirupati Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyalaya, he is the only son of Madhav Chandra Rath and Manjulata Rath belonging to Kendupalli village in Nayagarh district.
