BCCI announces ODI squad for 1st two One-Day matches


New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the 14-member team for the first two One-Day matches against the West Indies. Virat Kohli will take back the captaincy after getting rest from the Asia Cup.

While Rishabh Pant earned a maiden call-up to the Indian ODI team, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah who were rested for the Test series against the West Indies are given extended rest.

Team for the first two ODIs consists of: Virat Kohli (C), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni (WK),Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Khaleel Ahmed, Shardul Thakur, KL Rahul.
