New Delhi: The Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat said on Tuesday that army will not hesitate to take strong action against terror groups all along Pakistan border.
Gen Rawat said terror groups are active on India’s western border and added that the Indian Army is dealing with the elements effectively.
“We are ensuring moral dominance along border in Jammu and Kashmir,” Gen Rawat said in his address to Army personnel on the occasion of Army Day here.
In an obvious reference to Pakistan, Gen Rawat said the Indian Army will not hesitate to take strong action to deal with terror activities along the western border.
The army chief said new guidelines are followed to maintain peace and tranquility all along the border in the eastern sector.
Gen Rawat said the Indian army is on a modernization drive and added our soldiers will not allow any compromise in guarding the border in the eastern sector.
