Mumbai: In an incident of cybercrime, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account was allegedly hacked on Monday night by Ayyildiz Tim, which claimed to be a Turkish hacker group.

The group replaced Bachchan’s profile picture with a photo of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and also changed the bio, adding “Actor … well, at least some are STILL saying so !! Love Pakistan”.

The hackers have also slammed India in one of the tweets.

The hacker also posted two images of Imran Khan with the caption: “Love Imran Khan”. The tweets were followed with emojis of Pakistan and Turkey’s flags.

A spokesperson for Mumbai Police informed the media that they have informed the cyber unit and the matter is being investigated.

The same group had previously hacked Twitter accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher among others.
