Air show in Cuttack for Biju Centenary
Cuttack: The Indian Air Force will display an air show for the residents of the Millenium City as a mark of respect to legendary leader and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik on occasion of the Biju Centenary celebrations. The air show will be hosted on December 23.
District administration is organising the display of air stunts by fighter jets and colourful formations by the Air Force.
“The air show will be hosted at a Khan Nagar Park in the city to mark Biju Patnaik’s birth centenary. The show will include three phases of colourful flights called Saranga, Akashganga and Suryakirana,” informed district collector Nirmal Chandra Mishra.
The hour long event will display stunts by 13 fighter jets.
In 2010, a similar show was hosted by Air Force on occasion of National Youth Festival.
