New Delhi: In a tragic incident seven persons were killed following an LPG cylinder blast in a building here in West Delhi.
Reports said work relating to ceiling fans was being carried out in that building when the incident occurred.
The blast was so powerful that it brought down a portion of the structure, police said. Eight fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flame.
Police sources said nearly 15 people were shifted to Acharya Bhikshu hospital.
Seven of them died and four others were in critical condition. There were reports of some persons feared trapped under the rubble, sources added.
The owner of the factory was among the injured, police said.
