Private hosp association demands repeal of case against SUM owner   


Bhubaneswar: Private Hospital Owner Association on Thursday protested against the arrest of SUM Hospital owner Manoj Nayak and warned State Government of dire consequences if case against him is not repealed.

Addressing a press meet, Secretary of the association Anand Routray said Manoj has been arrested on purpose.

“The State Government is targeting only private hospital which is very unfortunate. The state government should immediately repeal the case registered against Manoj or we will take to streets if our demands are not met,” Routray said.

Nayak surrendered before Khandagiri police in the wee hours of Thursday after pressure from all corners started to mount.

Earlier today hundreds of BJP activists took to streets protesting the arrest of Nayak and demanded CM, Health Minister to quit.
