2nd ODI: Australia set 299-run target for India

Adelaide: Shaun Marsh’s 131 helped Australians to set a target of 299-run for India in the 2nd ODI in Adelaide on Tuesday.

The Indian team is likely to bounce back against Australia in the 2nd ODI.

Marsh stitched four fifty-plus partnerships with Usman Khawaja (21), Peter Handscomb (20), Marcus Stoinis (29) and Glenn Maxwell. With this, Marsh scored his seventh century in ODI cricket.

Along with Marsh, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell scored a quick-fire 48 off 37 balls, helping Australia to score 299.

For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, with figures of 4-45, was the most impressive bowler. Mohammed Shami grabbed three wickets while Ravindra Jadeja clinched one wicket.
