Rayagada: As many as 20 migrant labourers have been rescued from Rayagada railway station, officials said on Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off, Human Rights activists reached the spot and rescued the labourers from the railway station. The labourers were being trafficked to work in a textile mill in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

While the Human rights activists rescued the labourers, they have been handed over to the Labour Department. A probe has also been initiated into the mater, sources said.
