16-feet long shark carcass washes ashore at Puri sea beach
Puri: A 16-feet-long carcass of a whale shark was found at Puri sea beach near lighthouse today, which gathered crowd in huge numbers.
The forest officials recovered the dead marine species on getting information from the local people.
The 16-feet dead mammal is suspected to have died after being hit by a ship or vessel and was swept ashore due to heavy sea current.
Notably, on April 3, a decomposed carcass of a whale was found at Puri beach. The dead whale was lying near Pantha Niwas.
