Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said his government has introduced 10 percent quota without altering reservation system.
Addressing a public meeting in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur on Sunday Modi said his government is committed to serve the nation through various welfare schemes.
During his visit he unveiled several development projects in the state.
The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation’s (ESIC) multi-specialty hospital at Tiruppur.
Modi also inaugurated a passenger service for a section of Chennai Metro from AG-DMS Metro station to Washermenpet Metro Station.
The 10 km section is a part of Phase-1 of Chennai Metro. With this stretch all 45 km of the Phase I project becomes operational.
